The German insurance association (GDV) has launched its Project Climate Change in 2007, which aims, among other objectives, at preparing new products, services and incentives to cope with the changing conditions. An adaptation of the products in the field of flood insurance is about to be initiated, to encourage relocations of flood-prone assets.
